The PLAY House is managed and operated by Antonio and Patricia Mantero. Antonio founded and operated The Coach House After-school for the last 6 years but now along with Trish have created the PLAY House.
The same concept of Play & Exercise only we are based OUTDOORS now!
They have combined 50 years experience in Hospitality Management, Coaching and developing children through play, movement, exercise, dance and team sport.
Both are passionate about coaching, staying active and working with children. Antonio manages the day to day operations and makes sure that all the staff at the Play House are also passionate, fun, trained, Garda vetted (Barnardos), complete the Code of Ethnics & Good Practice for Children’s in Sport and hold qualifications in the area of childcare and are trained in First Aid.
Every staff member also completes the ‘Children First’ E-Learning Programme with Tusla: This guidance assists organisations working with children with information about best practice in child safeguarding & protection.
At the PLAY house we strive to constantly use the best methods that are scientifically researched in care & child development. We train all our staff to take a holistic approach to coaching, caring whilst allowing the children in our care to discover play in their own way. The concept, The staff and the Environment are key to providing the best after-school care for all the children (parents)that attend.
